With the recent cancellation of Maja Salvador’s noontime gig, Sunday Noontime Live, showbiz reporter Lolit Solis slammed the actress-host for accepting the noontime show offer.
In her Instagram post, Solis criticized Salvador’s reasons behind accepting the offer. She wrote that Salvador allegedly took the hosting gig because of the amount stipulated in their agreement, refuting Salvador’s earlier statement that she followed former Star Magic Head Johnny Manahan to TV5.

Earlier, Solis also wrote about the financial struggles faced by Brightlight Productions, who mounted the production for SNL. Solis also allegedly attributed the issue to the high talent fee of actor Piolo Pascual and Salvador.
In 2020, Salvador confirmed her transfer to TV5 to follow Manahan to do a new program. At the same time, she thanked ABS-CBN for the opportunity it provided her throughout the years.
Manahan said that he apologized to Salvador and Pascual for dragging them to TV5 after their canceled noontime program.
Fans of Salvador came to her defense via Twitter following the post of Solis.
