In an exclusive interview with Bagong Umaga cast, Tony Labrusca and Heaven Peralejo addressed fans, who paired them as TonVen love team.
Tony said that he always appreciates having a mini love team while recounting his past projects having dark themes.
“I always appreciate it when I do a project tapos binibigyan ako ng mini love team habang airing yung show. Kasi nagstart ako agad na yung mga projects ko ay medyo dark. Hindi sya yung pa-twetums, unconventional projects,” said Tony.
Tony said back then, he’d always wanted to have a love team. Then, he said that he wanted the same projects, “Na dati sobrang gusto ko lang magka loveteam. Gusto ko mag-Wansapanatym kasi parang naiinggit ako sa mga kasama ko na bakit lahat sila parang youthful nung mga projects nila.”
Finally, he added that he enjoys the love team he has now, as he rarely experienced it before.
“Na-appreciate ko kapag nagkaka-project ako ng ganito, tapos pine-pair ako and may parang loveteam. Kasi ako hindi ko pa masyado nae-experience yun eh. Ngayon ko pa lang nae-experience, so ine-enjoy ko lang sya,” said Heaven.
As for Heaven, she also appreciates having Tony as her love team because of his personality.
“Like yung kay Tony, sobrang na-appreciate ko naman kasi sobrang cool lang. Sobrang cool nya as a person.”
Also, she shared that she felt lucky with Tony highlighting that her co-actor is the bigger person whenever they get tired from filming the scenes.
“Kung makikilala nyo talaga sya, sasabihin nyo sobrang swerte nyo naman na sya yung ka-loveteam. Isipin nyo parang parehas nga kayong may topak pero sya yung mag-a-adjust, para alam mo yun. Sya yung magiging bigger person. So nakakatuwa lang din, kasi hindi lahat ng tao, kayang ganon,” said Heaven.
Finally, she thanked the fans who send them food and clothing as appreciation for their tandem.
“Tsaka nakakatuwa kasi yung mga fans nagbibigay din sila ng mga damit, like mga food, mga wine, so yun,” said Heaven.
Earlier, Tony recalled that he doesn’t want to end their filming day without patching things up with Heaven.
