Primetime TV Majesty, Maja Salvador, reacts to ABS-CBN’s simulcast on TV5. She considers it as a new chapter on Philippine TV.

During the media conference for the TV5’s inspirational teleserye, Maja reacted to ABS-CBN’s simulcast on TV5. She feels happy with the block time deal, noting that it’s a new chapter for Philippine television.

“Yung pagsasanib pwersa ng TV5 and ABS-CBN, ang saya lang ng nakakakita bagong yugto ng industriya natin. Sa Philippine TV, parang first time po ‘yun,” said Maja.

She also highlighted that the simulcast is a start towards the networks helping each other out.

“And, I think magandang umpisa ‘yun at magtutulungan po, so kahit sinong mauna, sinong mahuli, andun yung 100% sure tayo na nagtutulungan. Sanib pwersa ang lahat,” said Maja.

Earlier, Maja compared the treatment she received from ABS-CBN, TV5, and Cignal TV. She highlights how thankful she is for those who believed in her.

“Grabe ‘yung ibinibigay na importansya ng TV5, ng Cignal, ng Cornerstone studios but masasabi ko na ganon din naman ang ABS-CBN before. So ngayon masaya ako na kung paano ako trinatrato sa ABS before, masaya ako na with TV5 and signal ay ganon din po. Napakaswerte ko po dahil ang daming taong naniniwala sa akin. Ang daming taong gustong sumugal sa akin. Kaya maraming maraming salamat po sa kanilang lahat,” said Maja.

Because of the block time deal between ABS-CBN and TV5, Maja’s new teleserye airs right before ABS-CBN’s FPJ Ang Probinsyano, which stars Coco Martin.

Maja stars in TV5’s, Niña Niño, with 2017 Cinemalaya Best Actor, Noel Comia Jr. The series includes powerhouse cast with Empoy Marquez, Lilet Esteban Ruby Ruiz, Ian Pangilinan, Sachzna, Junyka Santarin, Arron Villaflor, Moi Bien, and Dudz Teraña. Helming the series is the award-winning director Thop Nazareno. The teleserye airs on April 5, 2021, 7:15 PM, Mondays to Fridays on TV5.
