Cockroaches are the epitome of fear for most people. These 6-legged insects would make any person’s skin crawl just by the sight of it. Even the prominent actress Yaya Dub is afraid of it!

With the majority of people afraid of roaches, Marietta Subong, popularly known as Pokwang, revealed that it was Maine Mendoza’s ultimate fear. She recalled the time when she and Maine were working on a movie. Pokwang said that the young actress was never afraid of ghosts.
However, Maine was definitely fearful of these oval-shaped insects.
While they were shooting a scene in a post office building, there was an incident that confirmed Maine’s fear of roaches. Sadly, Pokwang did not mention what happened during the taping.
“Hindi ka [Maine] takot sa multo. Gusto mo makakita pero sa ipis tako ka! Hahaha… Ako din takot sa ipis,” wrote the comedienne.

Maine even confirmed Pokwang’s tweet saying that she is definitely afraid of roaches.
She wrote, “Mamang, alam mo yan! Laban tayo sa mumu pero sa ipis, wit!”

Well, in Maine’s defense, everyone is afraid of cockroaches!
Maine and Pokwang worked in Vic Sotto’s 2019 Metro Manila Film Festival entry, “Mission Unstapabol: The Don Identity.” The two remained good friends since the film’s production.
