As Vice President Leni Robredo and Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto continue their work in serving the Filipino people, their hard work once again paid off and recognized by PeopleAsia magazine.
The publication cited Robredo and Sotto among this year’s People of the Year awardees.
The Vice President got recognized for her signature anti-poverty program Angat Buhay and her Office of the Vice President’s (OVP) response to COVID-19. She bagged the Special Award for Public Service.
Meanwhile, PeopleAsia readers voted for Sotto to be the People’s Choice Awardee. The young Pasig City mayor is recognized for his effective COVID-19 response and named among 12 International Anticorruption Champions.
As the two received their respective awards, celebrities and Netizens could not help but congratulate Robredo for another achievement.

YouTuber and entertainment columnist Rose Garcia showed her admiration for Robredo as she did not take all the credit for the award she received. VP Leni also shared the recognition with her staff, the donors, and volunteers of her programs.
