Kathryn Bernardo’s mom, Mommy Min, posted her birthday message for Kathryn’s long-time boyfriend, Daniel Padilla.
Mommy Min mentioned that he watched Daniel grew and even witnessed some of his mischievous moments when the actor was still young.
Daniel celebrated his 26th birthday on Monday, April 26.
In an Instagram post on that same day, Mommy Min said that he understood the actor’s previous behavior as she mentioned that all the people have been in that stage.
“Mahigit na 10 taon ka na naming nakilala, mula nung nagsisimula ka pa lang magbinata, nakita ko ang kalokohan at kapilyuhan mo sa lahat ng bagay pero napagdaanan nating lahat ang mga yan,” she said.
Kathryn and Daniel, dubbed as KathNiel, have been in a relationship for more than nine years now. They practically grew up together in showbiz as the two got paired since 2011.
Kathryn’s mom then said that she was able to discover Daniel’s good side saying, “Nakita din naming lahat ang tunay na Daniel John Ford, maalaga, mapagmahal at mabait na anak at kapatid.”
Mommy Min ended her post by wishing the actor well for the years to come.
“Ngayon, muling nadagdagan na naman ng isang taon ang iyong edad, we always pray that God bless you more, gives you strength and teach you more additional knowledge to face the future,” she said.

Daniel Padilla is one of the A-listers in ABS-CBN as he has received various recognition from Philippine film award-giving bodies like FAMAS and PMPC for his talent in acting.
He has also been a part of several blockbuster films with Kathryn such as Barcelona: A Love Untold (2016) and The Hows of Us (2018).
In January 2020, he was hailed as Push Music Personality of the Year.
Daniel was recently a part of a rom-com series with Kathryn called The House Arrest of Us which streamed on KTX, iWantTFC, and TFC IPTV PPV. The series ran from 24 October 2020 to 16 January 2021.
