Honda Philippines Inc. (HPI) has officially strengthened its commitment to promoting a culture of safety among young learners through Honda Safety Driving Center’s Kids and Students on Safety activity with Don Bosco Elementary and National High School Parañaque.

In attendance were Honda Safety Driving Center department manager Mr. Raymund Cristobal, other HSDC managers, supervisors, and Don Bosco Elementary School Officials.

In a simple yet meaningful ceremony held on Don Bosco Elementary School basketball court, representatives from Honda Philippines Inc. and Don Bosco school officials came together to reaffirm their shared mission of promoting responsible road behavior among young learners. A certificate of appreciation was presented to Honda Philippines Inc. in recognition of its continuous support in educating students about proper road safety practices.

The partnership serves as a testament to Honda’s unwavering belief that road safety is a shared responsibility and that nurturing safer habits starts in schools.

The event showcased Honda’s Kids on Safety (KOS) initiative, which aims to equip children with essential road safety knowledge, including pedestrian discipline, traffic sign recognition, and safe commuting habits, and importance of wearing a helmet. Through interactive discussions and hands-on learning activities, HSDC seeks to instill safety awareness early empowering students to become responsible road users in their communities.

The program featured a road safety film showing, followed by a hands-on discussion of traffic rules and regulations, and concluded by Push Bike Mini Skills Challenge, where the children—safely equipped with helmets, elbow pads, and knee pads—put their learning into action.

Following the successful Kids on Safety program in the morning, Honda Philippines Inc. (HPI), through the Honda Safety Driving Center (HSDC), extended its road safety advocacy to senior high school learners through its Students on Safety (SOS) initiative. The session brought together 180 Senior High School students at Don Bosco National High School Parañaque for an engaging and informative road safety seminar.

The wide participation of students, as seen in the group photo, showcased their enthusiasm and commitment to becoming responsible and safety-conscious road users. The seminar covered essential topics such as proper road behavior, motorcycle safety, understanding traffic signs, pedestrian discipline, defensive driving principles, and safe commuting practices—all designed to prepare students for real-life road situations as future drivers, commuters, and community members.

Through this expanded initiative, Honda reinforces its mission of building a culture of road safety across all ages. The company remains committed to empowering Filipino youth with the knowledge and mindset needed to keep themselves and others safe on the road—today and in the years to come.
