Momshies Melai Cantiveros, Jolina Magdangal, Karla Estrada admit feeling pressure in their upcoming Star Cinema comedy movie, ‘Momshies! Ang Soul Mo’y Akin.’

In the media conference for the upcoming Star Cinema comedy film, Cantiveros, Magdangal, and Estrada shared why they felt pressure for the movie and how they overcame it.

For Cantiveros, she noted where the pressure came from and how her fellow Momshies helped her overcome that weight brought by their comedy movie.

“Napressure kami sa movie. Sobrang pagkapressure kasi nga, binigyan kami ng trust ng Star Cinema at Keep Filming. Pero dahil kasama ko nga ang dalawang bigating artista talagang gumanon ako sa kanila sa likod. Para di na ako kabahan.”

As for Magdangal, she also noted the feeling of pressure because of the production. However, she clarified that the fun-filled atmosphere on set helped her overcome it.

“May pressure pero siguro parang natatabunan kasi ng fun. Parang natatabunan yung pag nakikita ko yung mga ipopost natin araw-araw, parang sumasaya tayo di ba. Na talagang gusto natin maramdaman ng mga tao na bardagulan ito, pero may aral talaga silang makukuha dito.”

As for Estrada, she emphasized the feeling of excitement compared to the pressure.

“More on dun sa pressure, mas doon sa excitement na magiging bahagi kami ng pagpapasaya sa gitna ng pinagdadaanan natin lahat ngayon. It’s more on excitement. I think yung pressure kasi siguro more dun lang yun sa ano ba yung pwede naming maibalik sa mga taong nagtiwala sa amin, katulad nila Direk and ng Star Cinema.”

Momshies Karla Estrada, Jolina Magdangal-Escueta, and Melai Cantiveros-Francisco star in the soul-switching comedy film, Momshies! Ang Soul Mo’y Akin.

Joining the Momshies are the members of the star-studded comedic cast, Thou Reyes, Manuel Chua, DJ Jhai Ho, Mitoy Yonting, Miko Gallardo, Juliana Parizcova Segovia, Pia Moran, Eris Aragoza, Francis Mata, Johannes Rissler, and Jason Francisco.

Under the direction of Easy Ferrer, the Star Cinema and Keep Filming movie, Momshies! ‘Ang Soul Mo’y Akin’ lands on streaming platforms KTX.ph, iWant TFC, TFC IPTV, Cignal PPV, and Sky Cable PPV this May 28.
