KC Concepcion is under fire after Netizens claimed that she’s insensitive in her comment on Lovi Poe’s ring post.
Recently, Poe posted a picture of herself on Instagram wearing a ring. She captioned it as: “Should I ring you up?”
Her post earned reactions from Netizens. Among those who commented was KC Concepcion.
Concepcion wrote that Poe’s boyfriend, Monty Blencowe, should ring her up.
“@montyblencowe should ring you up,” KC said along with a winking emoji.
Monty Blencowe is a US-based British writer and producer.
KC’s comment garnered various reactions from the Netizens and gave different interpretations for her comment.
Some Netizens understood that Concepcion urged Poe’s boyfriend to propose to the Kapuso actress, but some saw it as insensitive.
People said that the couple’s decision to marry should be theirs and not KC’s. She should not force the couple to do so.
Some Netizens also said that they found KC’s comment annoying. They said that she seemed like an ‘unintentional hater.’
Concepcion and Poe are known to be close friends.
Previously, Lovi greeted KC for her 35th birthday via Instagram story.
As of writing, both Concepcion and Poe have not released a statement regarding the ring comment issue.
Lovi is known for her roles in Bakekang (2006), Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real (2014). She currently stars in the Kapuso romantic-comedy series Owe My Love with Benjamin Alves.
While KC is currently on hiatus from showbiz for more than six years. Her last project was in 2014 with the Kapamilya teleserye Ikaw Lamang.
However, speculations of KC’s return to showbiz will be via the Kapuso channel.
At present, she is busy with her jewelry business as she constantly posts on her IG account about her venture as a solo entrepreneur.
KC recently expressed her gratitude to the GMA Network after she got featured as a solo entrepreneur.
