Actor Christian Bables shared how he felt embarrassed after he tried to order a fan-made The Pop Star Meal at a Jollibee store, which he believed to be true.
To his dismay, it was too late when Bables discovered that the Sarah Geronimo-inspired meal was all made up by a fan. This idea was taken from the ongoing and popular McDonald’s BTS Meal promo.
The inclusions of The Pop Star Meal are Coke Sarah, Ikot-Ikot Twister Fries, and Tala Nuggets which were inspired by the singer’s name and hits. The mockup created by @RvinXXXtian went viral online and Bables then blamed himself for not reading the post properly.
“Nag drive-thru ako for the pop star meal, shet hindi pala to totoo. Napapala ng hindi nagbabasa Hi ate sa Jollibee drive thru, sa lutong ng tawa mo kanina nung ine-explain ko ‘yung meal na merong Coke sarah, busog na ako. Happy to have made your night,” he posted on twitter.

Narrating to a netizen, Bables shared how he funnily mentioned the details of the non-existing Jollibee meal to a female crew.
“Hahaha ‘yung pagkaka-explain ko pa eh: ‘Ate ‘yung nuggets na star, na may Coke sarah.’ Sa lutong ng tawa ni Ate, parang 10 years na kami magkaibigan,” Bables shared.

In another post, the male celebrity admitted that it was such an embarrassing moment for him when he pleaded to have the order from a crew who just laughed hard at him.
It seemed that Bables won’t forget this experience for weeks.
He said, “Nag-init ‘yung tenga ko sa hiya, hahaha ‘yung parang nagmaka-awa pa akong pag-bilhan nila ako ng star na nuggets t’saka ng Coke sarah na-realize kong muk’a na akong timang ‘nung nagkulay violet na si ate sa kakatawa. Muk’ang mapapanaginipan ko siya ng mga two weeks.”
