Star Magic artist and PBB Otso alumna Lou Yanong said her heart is ‘okay’ now, months after her breakup with Andre Brouillette.
However, she admitted going through an emotional struggle after breaking up with Brouillette.
“Definitely not the first three months. And I know na mas mahirap pa rin ‘yun. Kasi nga ‘yung sinabi ko sa Magandang Buhay it’s still going to be difficult.
“Mahirap kapag minahal mo talaga ‘yung tao. It’s going to be a real struggle. But right now, I’m okay.”
Yanong added that to this day, her emotions about the breakup aren’t stable.
“But also, breakups, all the feels, it comes in waves kasi, di ba? Minsan nand’yan, minsan mawawala. Tingin mo okay ka na, tapos biglang magiging hindi. So, I’m ready for that. Just knowing my emotions. Minsan may mga times pa rin na it’s still hard.”
She also shared her thoughts on the possible reasons behind their breakup.
“I think it’s (acting career) just a /small part of it. Ang daming factors because of the breakup na ‘yun. But maybe, I guess plan na ni Lord ‘yun. Na parang, ‘Okay, there might be a lot of things going in your way. That I planned for you.'”
“Na baka, it’s okay, muna, to let go of some stuff. And, we both accepted that naman. Basta si God na ‘yung nag salita wala na tayo magagawa.”
As for communication, Yanong then said it would be better for both of them if she and Brouillette didn’t interact post-breakup.
“No communication at all, because I think it will be better for the both of us. Nagbreak kami not because of a third party. Walang babae, walang guy.
“It would be hard because noong nag-breakup kami, mahal pa rin namin ‘yung isa’t-isa. It’s just we had to, for some reason, secret. But yeah, parang mas mahirap if nag-uusap kami while doing that. It’s going to be a magnet na push and pull.”
Earlier, Pinoy Big Brother Otso alumni Yanong and Brouillette confirmed their breakup on social media, saying that they are both going on different journeys in their lives.
Now, Yanong is focused on her career as she signed with Star Magic during the Star Magic Black Pen Event.
