After doing some projects in the Kapamilya Network, actor and model Rafael Rosell returned to the Kapuso fold!
On Carla Abellana’s recent YouTube vlog, she hinted regarding the two artists who will join them in their second lock-in taping in Bataan for To Have and to Hold–and one of the two–is Rosell.
“Because we will be at lock-in, I think with two more cast members. So yeah, abangan n’yo kung sino ‘yun, but yes we’ve been waiting for them and finally, we have them on board, so I can’t wait to work with both of them,” Abellana shared.
Rosell will portray a special role in GMA Network’s upcoming highly anticipated drama series To Have and to Hold.
Other stars will join Abellana and Rosell, like Rocco Nacino, Max Collins, Athena Madrid, and Luis Hontiveros.
Rosell got greatly affected regarding the cancellation of Kahit Minsan Lang, the Bea Alonzo’s canceled teleserye on ABS-CBN.
Apart from Alonzo, he was supposed to work with Richard Gutierrez, Jameson Blake, and Christian Bables in the said project.
His return to ABS-CBN and the failed Alonzo-starrer series paved the way for him to do a Maalaala Mo Kaya episode and being part of Parasite Island and Huwag Kang Mangamba.
In 2015, Rosell’s last appearance was his character as Oliver in GMA’s primetime series Because of You, which starred Carla Abellana and Gabby Concepcion.
Because of You won the Most Favorite Foreign Drama award during the 7th Face of the Year Awards held in Vietnam. He got nominated as the Most Favorite Foreign Actor during the awarding ceremony.
