Kapuso star Sanya Lopez shared her preferred Kapamilya actors, whom she wants to work with, and they are Paulo Avelino, Jericho Rosales, and Piolo Pascual.
During the media conference for her contract renewal on Thursday, July 29, Lopez listed the names of the three actors.
She first listed Kapuso actors Alden Richards, Ken Chan, and Martin Del Rosario.
“Kung sino man po ‘yung ibigay sa atin ng GMA excited po ako. Kasi marami pa akong hindi napa-partner na taga GMA po. Even si Alden (Richards). Yes nagkatrabaho kami ni Alden before sa Encantadia, pero hindi kami partner. Si Ken Chan sa drama kasi nakita naman po nating magaling si Ken sa drama. Si Martin Del Rosario, napakahusay rin na aktor.”
Lopez then listed Kapamilya actors Avelino, Rosales, Pascual, and added the new Kapuso actor John Lloyd Cruz.
“Kung mayroon mang taga-kabila feeling ko si Paolo Avelino, Jericho Rosales, Piolo Pascual, and of course, Mr. John Lloyd Cruz.”
Earlier, there were rumors that Rosales and Pascual planned to transfer to GMA Network after ABS-CBN’s shutdown.
However, Piolo’s recent statement and Rosales’s recent Instagram post about ABS-CBN–it confirmed that they are still Kapamilya.
As for Avelino, he is currently busy working on Kapamilya Network’s Marry Me, Marry You.
Lopez’s breakout role was in the Kapuso fantasy series, Encantadia (2016). She then starred in multiple teleseryes on GMA Network, such as Cain at Abel, Haplos, and Agimat ng Agila.
She then landed the role of Yaya Melody in First Yaya, making her a household name.
When asked about her reaction to the slew of new Kapuso talents pouring in the Network, Lopez expressed her excitement over the possibility of working with them.
“Feeling ko mas nae-excite po akong makatrabaho po sila. Kasi po alam ko po ‘yung pakiramdam pag baguhan ka din. Tapos ‘yung makasama mo ‘yung ibang artista sa GMA sobrang iba ‘yung pakiramdam. Gusto ko ring maramdaman nila kung ano ‘yung naramdaman ko that time.”
