On November 10, actress Janine Gutierrez said she feels “super happy” being a Kapamilya.
During the media conference, Gutierrez recalled her first appearance on ABS-CBN via ASAP Natin ‘To.
“Actually hindi ko inexpect. Parang unang tapak ko pa lang sa ASAP doon po kasi ako unang dumiretso noong una akong lumipat sa ABS-CBN.”
She then highlighted the sincerity of Kapamilya employees, adding that she has adjusted to the Network.
“Sobrang friendly ng mga tao and ramdam na ramdam ko ‘yung sincerity and ‘yung pagiging approachable noong staff, nung writers, nung directors, so yes super happy talaga ako na maging Kapamilya. At sa tingin ko naka-adjust na talaga ako ng buong-buo dito.”
Gutierrez then thanked the Kapamilyas abroad for supporting her and Marry Me Marry You.
“Sobrang grateful talaga ako na parang Marry Me Marry You ‘yung naging introduction ko sa mga Kapamilya natin abroad. First show, ko sa ABS, and with that sa TFC.
“And sobrang nagpapasalamat ako sa mga Kapamilya na nanonood at nagti-tweet sa amin gabi-gabi. Nagpapa-trend noong show. And, sobrang excited din na magkakaroon kami ng show sa US next year. I’m really looking forward to it.”
Gutierrez then expressed her interest in going global following their series’ success worldwide.
As for her experience filming Marry Me Marry You, Gutierrez said the staff and crew felt like family.
“Sobrang saya noong experience. As soon as I got the script actually unang basa pa lang naiyak na ako sa kwento eh. And, to get to work with such an amazing cast under Dreamscape na napakaganda ng kwento. And then I’m working pa with Paulo [Avelino] and Jake [Ejercito], talagang sobrang saya ng experience. Tapos parang naging pamilya talaga kami sa taping sa set.”
She then thanked the senior cast of the series for giving her advice.
“Ang laki din ng pasasamalamat ko kay ate Shine [Sunshine Dizon], kay Miss Pie [Cherry Pie Picache] at kay Miss Vina [Morales], kasi sobrang dami kong natutunan sa kanila na parang pakiramdam ko ate, tita’t, nanay ko talaga sila.
“It was really the best experience. Also getting to share everything, pagdating sa mga ganitong media con, ‘yung una naming media con, tapos ngayon na talagang sinuportahan kami ng Kapamilya. ‘Yun sobrang saya talaga.”
