Via a YouTube vlog uploaded on Wednesday, January 5, talk show host Cristy Fermin revealed why Kris Aquino got turned off with Robin Padilla.
Fermin recalled Aquino’s failed relationships in the past including with her recent boyfriend Mel Sarmiento. She then remembered the days when Aquino and Padilla were dating each other.
Aquino said she got turned off with Padilla because he farted inside the church.
Fermin recalled, “Niyaya kami magsimba ni Kris sa Manaoag. Umuwi kami madaling-araw na. Nagsimba siya. Mayroon daw siyang hihilingin sa Manaoag, sabi ni Kris. Sumama naman si Robin.
“Sabi ni Kris, ‘I don’t like him na, he has no manners… inside the church he farted.’”
Fermin asked Robin: “Anak naman, ba’t sa loob ng simbahan, nadinig pa niya, umutot ka.”
Robin said: “E ano gagawin ko, hirap na hirap na ako. Alangan namang pigilin ko ‘yung hangin.”
It was in the early ’80s when Aquino and Padilla became an item. At that time, Padilla was beginning to make a name for himself as an action star and as the future Bad Boy of Philippine Movies.
Their love affair was controversial and it was rumored that then-President Cory Aquino (RIP) did not approve Padilla for Kris.
