Korina Sanchez has been brewing a sinister plan for online trolls, saying she wants them to be humiliated first before going behind bars.
On January 17, via Instagram, Sanchez posted a message to those who have been victims of online trolls.
“ARE YOU ALSO A VICTIM OF TROLLS? When I googled “memes of trolls” this image came out. Parang akma?
“Their parents must be very proud of them na ang income nila is to inflict lies and misery on other innocent people. Poor parents who put them through school.
“Trolls are usually hired and orchestrated by people who don’t have the guts to just confront you and tell you what they think, to your face. Or malaki ang kontrata para manira. Or baka kasi super inggit lang. Or bored sila and unhappy. Or obsessed with a person or an idea.”
Sanchez has shared her email address, asking victims of online harassment by paid trolls to contact her.
“Ipakulong natin sila. Hiyain muna natin nang todo bago pakulong. Im in touch with the Senate about this currently. Im on your side, being a victim myself. There’s a way.
“I can also advise you about the legal parameters. Let the devils stay in hell, right? Let’s put them back there,” she captioned.

On January 9, Sanchez changed her Instagram post about COVID-19 after getting flak from netizens.
Netizens commented that her statement was insensitive, especially since the country is experiencing a spike in COVID-19 cases.
After receiving hateful comments, Sanchez immediately edited her post.
In the comment section, she explained that she miscalculated her words in her previous post.
“Miscalculation of words in the caption. This is what I meant,” she wrote.
