The newest Sunday comedy infotainment show of GMA Network, ‘The Best Ka!’ was a hit during its pilot airing on February 20!
Hosted by Mikael Daez, it took over the vacated timeslot of ‘Dear Uge’ that concluded on February 13.
During its pilot telecast, ‘The Best Ka!’ earned a 5.1% rating, ranking 6th in the rating chart of AGB Nielsen.
On the same day, nineteen out of the Top 20 Most-Watched programs nationwide were GMA Network.
Daez was joined by his wife Megan Young during the pilot airing of the said show.
‘The Best Ka!’ highlights Guinness World Records record-breaking facts and achievements. It will also feature other Filipino success stories.
This show marks the first hosting stint of Daez so. He feels pressured about doing this project, but he enjoys everything.
“There is always pressure but it is important that you do well, prepare well, read the script and understand the objectives, but most importantly, you must enjoy what you’re doing. Once you have those, the rest will play out.
“If you have seen from the trailer, I was dancing and people know that I don’t dance that well. But it was fun, there’s a lot of creativity going on and I couldn’t ask for more.”
