Former GirlTrends’ member Dawn Chang will join the cast of the much-anticipated Mars Ravelo’s Darna: The TV Series.
On February28, Chang announced via an Instagram post and posted a photo of her featuring the other cast members of the show such as Iza Calzado, Joko Diaz, Eric Fructuoso, Argel Saycon, and LA Santos.
“Trying to keep sane while locked in a bubble. Thank you tito “The Master Levy” for sharing with us your years of knowledge and experience. Salamat din po sa mahabang pasensya para sa aming mga makukilit mong estudyante. #TeamDarna,” she captioned.

Chang did not disclose other information regarding the character she will portray in the upcoming series though.
Mars Ravelo’s Darna: The TV Series will be topbilled by Jane de Leon in the title role, Janella Salvador, and Joshua Garcia.
Directed by Chito S. Roño with Avel Sunpongco, the series is scheduled to premiere this 2022.
On March 2, via twitter, Chang gave her salute to all the women in the world.
