Yeng Constantino changed the lyrics of her hits songs during Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Kiko Pangilinan’s grand rally in Zamboanga City, reflecting the rally’s call for change.
On March 17, Constantino performed her signature OPM tunes during the Robredo-Pangilinan rally at the Cesar C. Climaco Freedom Park.
Constantino sang Salamat, where she changed a few lines, singing “Para sa inyo, tayo’y lalaban,” in the tune’s bridge.
Constantino also sang her song Ikaw. Instead of singing the original lyrics, “Ikaw ang pag-ibig na hinintay,” she uttered: “Ikaw ang Pangulong hinihintay.”
The celebrities who joined Constantino in the grand rally are Jolina Magdangal, Rica Peralejo, Nikki Valdez, Moira dela Torre, Erik Santos, Bayang Barrios, Lei Ramos, Gab Valenciano, Mayonnaise, Moonstar88, and Rivermaya.
