ABS-CBN’s Head of TV Production Lauren Dyogi is open with ABS-CBN programs on Advanced Media Broadcasting System Inc. (AMBS) Channel 2.

On Wednesday, February 23, Dyogi shared that the ABS-CBN company is ready to partner with the AMBS Channel 2.
“We’re doing it already. We’re doing it with Channel 5 already. We’re doing it with A2Z, I think the way to go is to really have more partners,” he said.
Dyogi was asked if the network was willing to work with Manny Villar and Willie Revillame.
“I don’t know? But it’s happened already. Hindi ko nga na-imagine na dati…parang makakapag-partner kaya kami sa maraming broadcast? Malay niyo naman, may partnership kami with the other players, di ba? Malay mo.
“Ah, nasa kanila naman `yon. Frequency nila `yon. Kung ano ang plano ni Sir Willie, siya naman yata ang magiging…Kami naman, we’re a content company, we partner with a lot… even international, local, hindi naman bago sa amin `yon,” he said.
On February 17, Vice Ganda joked about transferring to Villar’s AMBS Channel 2.
“Wala tayong signal sa loob ng studio magmula nang mawala ang franchise wala nang signal.
“Tawagan mo si Manny Villar masasagot yan… Tawagan mo sya at pag nakausap mo sya sabihin mo sabi ko, Hi… Hi, baka may opening dyan.”
On January 25, NTC granted a temporary permit for the AMBS, owned by Villar to do a test broadcast on Channel 2 and operate a television broadcasting system on Channel 16.
This temporary assignment is for simulcast only until the analog shut-off is scheduled in 2023.
