The Kapamilya programs FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano and The Broken Marriage Vow continue to earn high ratings and place at the top of the rating chart amidst tough competition.
From April 18 to April 20, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano remained in the #3 spot of the AGB Nielsen rating chart, while The Broken Marriage Vow retrieved the 5th rank from Family Feud.
On April 18, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano earned a n 11.6% rating, 1.2% behind its rival Kapuso program, First Lady. The Broken Marriage Vow returned to the Top 5 on the leaderboards, earning a 7.3% rating.
The following day, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano improved its rating to 11.9%, but its gap against First Lady increased to 1.4%. The Broken Marriage Vow also improved its rating, but Family Feud came closer with only a 0.4% gap.
On April 20, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano continued to improve to a 12.2% rating, and it was only 0.3% behind its rival Kapuso program. The Broken Marriage Vow and Family Feud established a 0.1% gap, but the former remained in the #5 spot with an 8.0% rating.
The exit of ABS-CBN from free TV has cut off the audience reach of its programs. However, despite the network’s limited reach, its programs remain competitive in ratings and manage to secure their spots on the rating chart.
