In an Instagram Story on Friday, May 13, Kim Chiu vented her frustration over what happened in the May 2022 elections.

“Still I cannot believe how did it happen. I’m sure all of you saw the videos and pictures and news about what happened on the election day,” Chiu said.

“Yet parang ginawa tayong bulag. How did it happen? Why is this happening? How did we let it happen? Do we even deserve this?” she continued.

But Chiu said she is proud of standing up for her beliefs and for having a clean conscience.

“Basta ako proud akong tumindig at malinis ang konsenya ko,” Chiu added.

She also wrote a message for Vice President Leni Robredo, the presidential candidate she supported.

“I am with you ma’am. We are all with you. I know you are tired, tao lang po kayo. ang dami nang tumatakbo sa isip nyo yet you are not giving up for all of us. Yung pag asa at lakas ng loob na binibigay nyo sa amin. Sobra po. Napaka strong nyo po. Mahal namin kayo maam. Proud kaming tumindig para sayo at para sa pag-asa na makakamtan sana ng Pilipinas,” Chiu said with the attached candid shot of Robredo taken during her thanksgiving gathering on Friday, May 13.

Chiu aired this statement following the thanksgiving event of Robredo.

Robredo said that the Angat Buhay outreach programs of the Office of the Vice President will be spun off into a Non-Government Organization or NGO.
