On July 1, Kapamilya artists Kyle Echarri and Chie Filomeno talked about their friendship outside the Pinoy Big Brother house.
During the media conference for Beach Bros, Echarri affirmed his friendship with the former PBB housemate.
“Magkaibigan lang po talaga kami. It has always been like that since PBB. Siyempre, may mga nakikita po ng mga fans, ginawan po ng twist, of course, may mga kilig moments na nakikita po sa PBB, pero ever since naman po talaga, hanggang ngayon magkaibigan lang po talaga kami.”
Filomeno also discussed her rapport with Echarri while taping their series, Beach Bros.
“Hindi mahirap kasi nandiyan na ‘yung rapport din. Like I said, doon sa mga interviews din, nandiyan na ‘yung connection and then ‘yung bond. And parang ‘yung sa eksena, parang go with the flow na kaming dalawa.”
The two Kapamilya stars then addressed their opinions on age preferences in a relationship.
Filomeno said that despite her self-restrictions, she would often follow her heart in relationships.
“Ako kasi hindi mo talaga matuturuan ‘yung puso mo like sabihin mo may restriction ka sa ganito, ayaw mo ng ganito, ayaw mo ng ganyan, but the next thing you know, in love ka na doon sa tao. So parang for me, kung saan ka dadalhin ng puso mo, yeah you just have to follow. Mahirap talagang kontrolin–‘yung puso talaga mahirap kontrolin.”
Echarri responded by reiterating his motto of never regretting something that made him smile or happy.
“Ako, I’ve always said this, never regret something that made you smile. ‘Yun. Wala napa-smile ka naman.
“Never regret something that made you happy. Of course, sometimes you have to think of the bads that comes with it–the bads that you did to get that happiness. When it’s too good, it’s not good at all.”
As for their upcoming series, Beach Bros stars Kyle Echarri, Chie Filomeno, Lance Carr, Brent Manalo, Raven Rigor, Sean Tristan, Kira Balinger, and Angelica Lao.
