On July 19, Kapamilya star Andrea Brillantes attested that her boyfriend Ricci Rivero felt proud of her because of her new musical series Lyric and Beat.
At the grand media launch of Lyric and Beat, Brillantes revealed Rivero’s reaction upon seeing the rehearsal videos she sent to her basketball player boyfriend.
“Yes po pinapanood ko sa kaniya. Proud siya, masaya siya na nagawa ko ‘to kasi alam niya lahat ng hirap ko. Before po, sinesendan ko na talaga kasi siya ng mga rehearsals video po namin kaya medyo di masyadong bago ‘yung teaser sa kaniya kasi ‘yung mga ano sinesend ko talaga.”
She also noted that Rivero supported her during her taping for the series in Baguio.
“Wala naman siyang reaction, mas sinuportahan niya ako. Actually, isa po siya sa mga biggest support system ko while filming this kasi sa kaniya ko nira-rant lahat ng pagod ko, pag minumulto ako sa Baguio.”
She even shared how Rivero comforted her after getting too emotional because of one of their scenes.
“‘Yung mayroong scene, kung napanood niyo po kagabi ‘yung parang iyak ko after ng audition ko. After that, tinawagan ko siya agad kasi masyado akong nadala as in naging totoo na lahat ng luha ko noon.”
Brillantes and Rivero officially announced their relationship in April after weeks of speculations from fans.
As for Andrea’s project, she stars in the Kapamilya musical series Lyric and Beat alongside Seth Fedelin, Darren Espanto, AC Bonifacio, Kyle Echarri, Sheena Belarmino, Jeremy G, Angela Ken, and Awra Briguela.
Under the direction of Dolly Dulu, Lyric and Beat streams via the iWantTFC app starting August 10.
