The battle for the best of Pinoy entertainment as decided by fans continues, as more categories are now open for voting in “Jeepney TV Fan Favorite Awards.”
Notable past and present Kapamilya hosts are nominated for the “Fave Talk Show Host” award, including Boy Abunda, Jhai Ho, Kris Aquino, ‘Momshies’ Jolina Magdangal and Melai Cantiveros, Martin Nievera, Sharon Cuneta, and Vice Ganda.
Kris and Vice have also clinched a nod for the “Fave Game/Reality Show Host” category along with Bianca Gonzalez, Edu Manzano, Judy Ann Santos, Luis Manzano, and Robi Domingo.
Vice is likewise up for the “Fave Musical/Variety Show Host” award with fellow “It’s Showtime” hosts Amy Perez, Anne Curtis, Jhong Hilario, Karylle, Ogie Alcasid, and Vhong Navarro. “ASAP Natin To” regulars Gary Valenciano, Martin Nievera, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Sarah Geronimo, and Zsa Zsa Padilla are also nominated.
Meanwhile, six of ABS-CBN’s beloved game and reality shows “I Can See Your Voice,” “Kapamilya Deal or No Deal,” “Panahon Ko ‘To,” “Pilipinas, Game Ka Na Ba?,” “Pinoy Big Brother,” and “Singing Bee” are competing for the “Fave Game/Reality Show” honor.
Fans can vote for their “Fave Talk Show Host,” “Fave Game/Reality Show Host,” “Fave Game/Reality Show,” and “Fave Musical/Variety Show Host” picks via JoinNow, Jeepney TV Fans Facebook Group, and TikTok until August 12 (Friday).
Voting for previously announced categories “Fave Kapamilya Serye Iconic Lines,” “Fave Kontrabida,” and “All-Time Favorite Loveteam,” via TikTok is ongoing until October 8 (Saturday).
Jeepney TV Fan Favorite Awards kicked off last July 16 with netizens heavily supporting their favorites on TikTok with the #JTVAwards hashtag earning over 6.5 million views, #FaveLoveTeam and #FaveIconicLive with almost 2 million views each, and #FaveKontrabida with 3 million views as of July 27. There are also over 51,000 votes received on TikTok, more than 3,000 votes on JoinNow, and over 36,000 votes via Facebook from Kapamilya fans.
