On January 3, actor Arron Villaflor confirmed that he is ready to do scenes with full frontal nudity.
At the media conference for Nightbird, covered by LionhearTV, Villaflor affirmed that he would only do full-frontal scenes if the story demanded it. The actor remarked, “Yeah, I would say, I would agree. If kinakailangan talaga sa eksena, bakit hindi? Bakit hindi?…Gaya nga ng mga sinabi ng mga veteran actors natin, kapag kinakailangan, just do it, do it.”
He then clarified, if possible, that he preferred not to do full-frontal nude scenes.
Villaflor explained, “…But I’m praying naman sana hindi tayo mapunta sa– kasi wala na akong ipapakita sa inyo. Wala na…Kapag nakita ninyo na, ‘ah wala na, wala ng excitement.’ …wag sana tayong mapunta sa ganong sitwasyon, because I can serve things na ikakatuwa ng mga tao pa rin.”
As for his upcoming film, he described ‘Nightbird’ as one of the “roughest” Vivamax productions.
The actor remarked, “Siguro, expected na rin po ‘yung sa character namin. And kung paano ‘yung magiging execution sa mga eksena, first time siguro sa Viva na magkaroon ng ganitong ka-rough, rough sex scenes. Ayun masasabi ko, isa siyang rough movie para sa taong 2023.”
He then discussed the cast’s preparation for performing the sensitive scenes in the film.
According to Villaflor, “On how Direk [Law] handle each scenes, hinahayaan lang po namin siya, and although may mga small suggestion pero at the end of the day, it’s always good to work with your director, especially kapag marunong din siyang makinig at marunong din kaming magbahagi bilang actor ng talento namin.”
Villaflor stars in the revenge-action film Nightbird with Christine Bermas, Mark Anthony Fernandez, Sid Lucero, and Felix Roco.
Under the direction of Law Fajardo, the Viva revenge-action film streams on Vivamax starting January 13, 2023.
