At the grand media conference for FPJ’s Batang Quiapo on February 8, actor John Estrada recounted his talk with the Kapamilya actor-director Coco Martin about becoming ABS-CBN’s biggest star.

Estrada recalled his conversation with a young Martin about taking on a major Kapamilya project.

He then asserted how Martin is steadfast to becoming the new king of the Philippine showbiz industry.

“I’m so blessed to have a session like that with Tito Rod [FPJ], with Randy Santiago, pero minalas ako kasi never ko nakatrabaho, kasi siyempre lahat naman kaming artista, pangarap naming makatrabaho si Tito Rod.

Estrada also attested to the hardworking and generous nature of Martin ever since he began in showbiz.

Kasi, they want to pick up something from Coco, kasi di ba nakikita nila ‘yung sipag.

As for the Kapamilya action-drama, FPJ’s Batang Quiapo stars the Kapamilya actor-director Coco Martin and the Supreme actress Lovi Poe.

The Kapamilya action-drama features a stellar cast with Irma Adlawan, Cherrie Pie Picache, Estrada, Christopher de Leon, Charo Santos-Concio, and Tommy Abuel.

The supporting cast includes Mark Lapid, Benzon Dalina, Pen Medina, Dindo Arroyo, Ronnie Lazaro, Marlo Mortel, Karl Medina, Precious Lara Quigaman, Ocampo, Ronwaldo Martin, and many more.

Under the direction of Malu Sevilla and Martin, the action-packed series FPJ’s Batang Quiapo airs tonight, February 13 at 8 PM on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, TV5, iWantTFC, and Kapamilya Online Live on ABS-CBN Entertainment’s YouTube channel and Facebook page.
