When we thought a Kapamilya-Kapuso collab would never see the light of day, a promising cross-network pairing is about to hit the screens!
GMA Network took the Twitterverse by storm with the announcement of its “biggest” collaboration project yet.
“#UnbreakMyHeart, starring your favorite Kapuso and Kapamilya stars – Joshua Garcia, Gabbi Garcia, Richard Yap, and Jodi Sta. Maria is coming soon!” the network wrote on its official account.

Accompanying the caption is footage of both GMA and ABS-CBN’s executives and stars headlining the series, with Cory Vidanes (COO for Broadcast, ABS-CBN) calling the co-production venture “a milestone in the industry.”
Vidanes shared, “We will also welcome our partners from Viu. We are going to bring ‘Unbreak My Heart’ to 15 territories outside the Philippines.”
Garlic Garcia, Viu Philippines’ Head of Content Partnerships, praised the platform, saying it stays true to its “vision to bring the finest Filipino talent.”

Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdez (Senior Vice President of GMA Network) was also quoted saying, “It’s a first for Philippine TV, and I’m sure it’s the audience that will be the winners in this collaboration.”
Meantime, following the announcement of the cross-network partnership, netizens are raving about the casting of young actors Will Ashley and Bianca De Vera.
