On March 9, Kapuso actress Beauty Gonzalez detailed how she always prepares for any project that comes her way.
At the media conference for her upcoming Magpakailanman episode, Takas sa Impiyerno, Gonzalez highlighted that she immerses herself in information to prepare herself.
“I’m always [kind of] prepared for any [kind of] work na darating sa akin. Like, I always watch documentaries, read books, try to talk to people, observe people, I read newspapers– I have newspapers delivered every day in my house.”
She also emphasized the importance of continuous learning as an artist.
“That’s how I prepare, and if I have any shows na bago, I consult my acting coach and ask her for some advice, which I usually do for the past ten years na na ‘yun ‘yung ginagawa ko parati.
“Siyempre, no matter, gaano na ako katagal sa business, you have [to always] keep learning new techniques and processes of [how to deliver] the truth, the sincerity of the story.”
She then expressed feeling happy landing her role in Magpakailanman.
“I’m so happy, kasi finally, it’s happening. Matagal ko ng hinintay na mag-guest ako sa Magpakailanman. But hindi lang nagkaka-timing because I was [working also] with different projects with GMA. And at the same time, I was looking for the perfect story. So, finally, nag-align ‘yung mga stars, so now it’s happening.”
As for her episode, Gonzalez starred in the Magpakailanman episode, Takas sa Impiyerno with Lucho Ayala. Under the direction of actress-director Gina Alajar, and got aired Saturday, March 11.
As for her shows on GMA Network, Gonzalez starred in various Kapuso series such as Stories from the Heart, I Can See You, The Fake Life, and Mano Po Legacy: Flower Sisters. As for her future projects, she’s working on the Kapuso series Stolen Life with Gabby Concepcion and Carla Abellana.
