FPJ’s Batang Quiapo (FPJBQ) cast member Big Mak responded to motivational speaker Rendon Labador after the latter called out the series for causing congestion in Quiapo.
In Labador’s Facebook post on March 4, on behalf of one store owner in Quiapo, he addressed and blamed FPJBQ for jamming the area.
In Big Mak’s YouTube vlog on March 5, he called out Labador and said that their FPJBQ taping in Quiapo is not the cause of why the area got jammed.
“Hindi naman kasi fully totoo ‘yung mga accusations mo. Pag nag-te-taping kami, hindi naman kami nakababad sa isang kalye, sa isang daan. Hindi kami humaharang sa gitna at saka bawat eksena mabilis lang. Wala pa sigurong 30-minutes. Siguro maximum 1-hour bawat eksena. So, hindi kami masyado super nakaka-cause ng traffic,” he reasoned out.
He even invited Labador to go to FPJBQ‘s set to share his complaints.
“Sana intindihin mo rin. Kung may mga question ka or mga complaints ka, go to the set and kausapin mo ‘yung production namin, kausapin mo ‘yung direktor namin, kausapin mo ‘yung barangay kapitan para maliwanagan ka kasi bro, maling-mali talaga ‘yang mga sinasabi mo.
“Hind lang naman si Direk Coco ‘yung tinira mo, eh. Lahat ng staff, crew, production, direktor, talents, actors, actresses. Marami ka na namang sinaktan,” said Big Mak.
Meanwhile, talent manager Ogie Diaz also weighed in on Rendon Labador’s viral criticism of FPJ’s Batang Quiapo and Coco Martin. He said that the motivational speaker should be calmer when voicing out his concerns.
