Shangri-La Plaza has announced the three winners of the Drive Home a 4WD this Christmas Holidaze Raffle Promo, and each are bringing home a brand-new off-roader Suzuki Jimny GLX.
Alicia Valle of Makati City and Francis Tiu of San Juan City both received the classic Metallic Chiffon Ivory Suzuki Jimny GLX 1.5L A/Ts each, and Jennifer Chan of Quezon City got the trendy Solid Kinetic Yellow version. The three have shared that they are regular mall guests at the Shang, as it’s a second home where they can enjoy dining, shopping, and spending quality time with their loved ones.
In Valle’s case, getting a Suzuki Jimny is like getting another birthday gift. It was her first time to join Shang’s annual Christmas raffle—and only after her youngest son gifted her with a bag from Italian luxury brand Bottega Veneta for her 70th birthday. She ended up using the receipt to join the Holidaze promo.
Tiu, on the other hand, has been an avid participant of Shang’s Christmas promos, saying he has been submitting raffle entries for over 10 years. For his winning bid, he dropped his receipts from fashion brands Zara and Univers, restaurants Texas Roadhouse and Cibo, and luxury watch shop Lucerne.
Like Tiu, Chan has also been joining Shang’s holiday raffle contests for over 10 years. This year, she was able to accumulate raffle coupons from her purchases from her shopping sprees at Rustan’s Department Store, Mercury Drug, and True Value; home appliance store Abenson; Travel Club that offers travel essentials; beauty brand Estée Lauder; sportswear fave Columbia, French luxury jeweler Cartier, and fashion brands Zara and Marks and Spencer.
Asked where they’re off to with their new wheels, all three winners are all planning an adventure. Valle is going to Alfonso, Cavite that’s loved for its hilly landscapes and coffee farms or Clark, Pampanga that’s known for its country clubs, hot springs, and hiking destinations. Tiu is thinking of exploring Bataan that features historical and natural sites like the Bataan World War II Museum and Bataan National Park. Chan is taking her car to church first before heading to the chilly Tagaytay, that’s popular for its views of the Taal Volcano and various dining options and vacation rentals.
