Veteran actress Yayo Aguila has a message for young talents regarding Filipino-American actress Liza Soberano’s issues about choices and love teams.
On March 10, via an interview, Aguila was asked regarding her opinion about Soberano saying the network boxed her into repetitive roles and leading men.
Aguila expressed, “Itong iniikutan nating mundo entertainment. May business element ‘to, di ba. So ganun talaga yung mga love team.
Aguila said that love teams were produced due to the public’s demand.
Aguila stated that a manager’s or handler’s job is to serve as a “spokesperson” if the talent is shy about speaking.
“Naniniwala ako na never mangyayari ang isang bagay kung hindi mo ginusto o hindi mo gusto,” she said.
On March 1, Lolit Solis nagged Soberano. The former says the latter has experienced a false feeling of sacrifice, a mood experienced by young artists.
Solis stated that it is funny that people complain about their sacrifices after achieving success.
On February 26, Soberano detailed how her career unfolded under ABS-CBN, noting how the network boxed her into repetitive roles and leading men.
