Viral memes and social media posts spawned online, after a scene on FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’s March 28 episode, got aired. Prior to the said episode’s airing, a post featuring the upcoming scene, on the Philippine Entertainment Facebook page, was already exploding.
The post, which was uploaded 2 days earlier, had already generated more than 300,000 reactions, 4,000 comments, and 18,000 shares by Wednesday morning, March 29.
Duplicates and similar versions of the meme similarly sprouted on various other pages, generating more laughter and reactions.
Lovi Poe, herself, posted a hilarious post on Instagram. In it, she mentioned and asked fellow Batang Quiapo actor, Ping Medina, “Kuya @pingmedina, birthday ko kasi diba? Bakit naman parang kukunin ako ni Lord nito? Sa langit ba debut ko?”

Ping Medina, meanwhile, reposted the viral meme and jokingly greeted Poe’s character, “Maligayang 40 days, Mokang.”
Poe is Coco Martin’s leading lady in the current number-one primetime TV program in the country. The actress plays Monica Dimaculangan a.k.a. Mokang, who is celebrating her 18th birthday. Previews for the remaining episodes this week suggest that a commotion is set to explode on the day of Mokang’s celebration. This is no thanks to Tanggol’s group, whom Mokang warned not to mess up with her special birthday. Tanggol is the character played by the FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’s lead star, Coco Martin.
