Kapamilya’s noontime show ‘It’s Showtime’ achieved another feat after posting record-high TV ratings and concurrent views post-pandemic and the ABS-CBN shutdown.
During its Saturday, May 6 episode, It’s Showtime scored a 4.0 percent rating, its highest since the pandemic and after ABS-CBN lost its broadcast franchise.
Its latest ratings placed them just 2.7 percent behind noontime leader ‘Eat Bulaga’ which scored 6.7 percent.
The record-breaking episode featured the Grand Finals of ‘Tawag Nang Tanghalan’ Season 6, which crowned General Santos City’s Lyka Estrella as its new grand winner.
Meanwhile, aside from TV ratings, the Kapamilya noontime show also recorded record-high live concurrent views.
Totaling viewers from YouTube’s Kapamilya Online Live, Showtime Online U, and ABS-CBN Entertainment’s Facebook page, It’s Showtime registered more than 255 thousand live viewers. This is a new record after its January 16 episode featuring Vhong Navarro’s comeback, which reached more than 245 thousand live concurrent viewers.
