Mavy Legaspi, and Kyline Alcantara shared their high hopes for the GMA Network and ABS-CBN’s major collaboration during the regional conference of their upcoming GMA Network series, “LUV IS: Love at First Read” help in Matina, Davao City.
During the press conference, Kyline Alcantara expressed her excitement, saying, “Nakaka-excite po siya, maraming nangyari nung pandemic may mga crews na walang trabaho nung pandemic at least now nagkaroon na po sila ng chance to go to work.”
In the same event. Legaspi added, “this would do good for the art of acting. Besides the healthy competition and collaborations, this will push Philippine Entertainment to higher levels.”
“LUV IS: Love at First Read” follows the journey of Kudos, a secret romantic in search of the perfect girl. When he stumbles upon a diary, he becomes convinced that its owner, Abby, is the one he has been searching for. However, he also encounters Angelica, a jaded girl who harbors deep distrust towards men and has no interest in love.
The series is an adaptation of the hit Wattpad web novel “LUV IS: Love at First Read” by author “Chixnita,” which has garnered an impressive 23 million views on the platform. The adaptation of the hit web novel begins airing on June 12 on GMA-7 from Mondays to Fridays at 5:40 p.m.
