ABS-CBN, GMA Network, and VIU’s groundbreaking collaboration teleserye, ‘Unbreak My Heart,’ achieved a commendable victory over its fellow Kapamilya rival, ‘Dirty Linen,’ during its pilot week.
On Monday, May 29, the primetime clash between the two Kapamilya series commenced, with ‘Unbreak My Break’ emerging victorious.
During its pilot episode, ‘Unbreak My Break’ secured a 6.9 percent rating, securing the 9th position on the rating chart. ‘Dirty Linen’, on the other hand, obtained a rating of 4.9 percent, placing 13th on the overall rating leaderboard.
The following day, Tuesday, May 30, ‘Unbreak My Break’ experienced a slight decline, dropping by 0.9 percent to receive 6.0 percent. It moved to the 11th spot. Meanwhile, ‘Dirty Linen’ maintained its 13th position with a 4.3 percent rating.
On Wednesday, May 31, the teleserye starring Jodi Sta. Maria and Joshua Garcia maintained their 11th position with a rating of 6.6 percent, showing a positive increase of 0.6 percent. Dirty Linen remained steady in 13th place, scoring 4.3 percent.
With the current match-up, either of the two series winning in the rating game proves to be a win-win situation for Dreamscape and ABS-CBN.
