A fan who allegedly entered Lea Salonga’s dressing room has now become a popular vlogger especially on Facebook.
Christopher Carpila, a Filipino businessman, gained attention on social media after recording his encounter with Lea inside her dressing room, which led to him gaining 6,600 followers on his social media page.
Christopher has been sharing various videos of his travels and daily activities while living in America. In his latest post, he even shared his wisdom with his new followers, urging them to overcome procrastination, which he believes is a negative trait among Filipinos.
“Isa sa mga problema nating mga Pilipino ang ‘kamamaya-maya na,’ hindi natin napapansin na ‘yung pagpe-pending natin sa mga dapat ginagawa natin ay isa sa mga nagpapabagal ng tagumpay sa ating buhay,” he said.
“Guys, tigilan na ang mamaya na habit kasi time is gold,” he added.
Lea Salonga has also addressed the viral encounter, revealing that the fans who approached her in her dressing room were escorted out of the building but later returned to the venue. She earlier reminded fans to respect her boundaries, especially regarding photo opportunities, after some supporters claimed to be friends with a co-producer and pleaded for photos with her.
“Sa mga bashers namin, ang dami niyo na. Please don’t leave me. Kasi alam mo this is the beginning of our friendship. Hindi lang naging maganda ‘yung ating panimula, sisiguraduhin ko na kapag nakilala niyo ko ay itu-twist ko yan 160 degrees in to love,” he said.
