Legit ‘Dabarkads’, Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon, again made history, today, July 1, after their much-awaited noon time comeback, drew record-level numbers online.
Pulling off a never-before-seen 521k live concurrent viewers at around 12:32 PM today, July 1, the TVJ noon time show, solidified its record-setting reputation, by obliterating the record set by It’s Showtime, last May, when Tawag Ng Tangahalan Year 6 grand finals, drew an estimated 255k live concurrent viewers on YouTube and Facebook.
Interestingly, It’s Showtime also set its own record, as the more than 325,000 live concurrent viewers it drew the same day, is now its highest, since it began streaming online. The Kapamilya noon time show, notably, aired its pilot episode on GMA Network’s GTV channel, a day after bidding aideu to TV5.
Without a solid following yet on Facebook and YouTube, TAPE Inc’s new ‘Eat Bulaga’, struggled to attract online viewers. The show streamed live via Isko Moreno Domagoso and Paolo Contis’s official Facebook pages, each drawing a measly 1,000 viewers.
The battle for noon time seems set to get more intense, as It’s Showtime, Eat Bulaga, and the Legit Dabarkads, are each poise to go after the viewers, with record-setting entertainment. Let’s see how this three-way battle unfold in the coming days or weeks.
