Veteran showbiz columnist Lolit Solis couldn’t believe that Willie Revillame was allegedly looking for a network that would shelter him. According to her, during the peak of the TV host’s popularity, he was like a pursued king.
Lolit mentioned this in her Instagram post last Friday, July 7.
It can be recalled that “Wowowin” is no longer airing on the network Willie transferred to, ALLTV, which is owned by his friend, former senator Manny Villar. It is currently using the previous frequency of ABS-CBN when it still had a franchise.
Lolit also advised Willie to resign for now and only come back when someone is looking for him. She said he seems pitiful because, according to her, no one is looking for the TV host.
Lolit also mentioned that Willie supposedly had a meeting with the Jalosjos family, who owns TAPE, INC.
However, Lolit still had something to say about Willie. She said he no longer has a radar and should just keep quiet.

It was previously mentioned by Cristy Fermin on her program “Cristy Ferminute” on July 3 that Willie was supposedly invited by the Jalosjos siblings to guest on “Eat Bulaga!” on GMA Network, to participate in a showdown against their rival shows, TVJ’s “E.A.T.” on TV5 and “It’s Showtime” on GTV, on Saturday, July 1, 2023.
According to Cristy, Willie was supposed to be pitted against Megastar Sharon Cuneta, who was the sole guest of TVJ on their noontime show, as well as the Kapuso stars who visited the grand production number of Showtime.
Meanwhile, it seems that Willie’s return to television is imminent after he shared a music video on his program’s official social media accounts.
The mentioned music video is titled “Babalik Ako!” (I Will Return!), written by Willie himself and composed by Vehnee Saturno.
