Matteo Guidicelli recently gave us a sneak peek behind the scenes of the ‘Pedro Penduko’ set, sharing a series of photos on Instagram.
In these photos, Matteo can be seen in action, sporting a sleeveless black top, shooting scenes, and reading the script.
He also posed for a picture alongside film director Jason Paul Laxamana and co-star Kylie Versoza.
According to Matteo’s caption, these snapshots were taken on the first day of shooting for ‘Pedro Penduko.’

‘Pedro Penduko’ is one of the most iconic fictional characters in the Philippines, known for being an ordinary yet resourceful human who combats evil forces with the aid of a powerful amulet. Over the years, several actors have taken on the role of Pedro Penduko, including Efren Reyes Sr., Ramon Zamora, Janno Gibbs, and Matt Evans.
Matteo was cast in the action film in 2019, and he seems to be fully committed to the role.
On May 11, Matteo Guidicelli signed a contract with GMA Network, expressing his excitement about embarking on this “new mission.” Aside from ‘Pedro Penduko,’ Matteo is also set to appear in the upcoming GMA Public Affairs series ‘The Black Rider,’ where he will share the spotlight with Ruru Madrid.
