On August 17, Vivamax star Azi Acosta how she got bullied after moving from Mindanao.

At the media conference for his upcoming Vivamax series ‘Secret Campus,’ which LionhearTV covered, Acosta recounted that she got bullied because of her accent after moving to Metro Manila.

Naranasan ko po ‘yan at a young age. Grade Six po ako noon, tapos I’m from Mindanao po, kaya Bisaya po ako that time, tapos ‘yung accent ko, nagta-Tagalog ako–Bisaya ‘yung accent ko tapos Tagalog ‘yung salita ko kaya binu-bully ako.”

She even got into catfights because of the bullying she had experienced.

She then discussed her character’s struggles and how it connects with people she knew back in school.

She also remembered how she experienced physical abuse from her Aunt when she was younger.
