Careless Music, helmed by James Reid, has come forward to dispel the rumors surrounding Liza Soberano’s professional affiliations.
Contrary to reports circulating in various media outlets, Soberano is still very much a part of the Careless Music family, as confirmed in a statement to ABS-CBN News.
The message from Careless Music succinctly quashed the speculations about Liza Soberano’s supposed departure from the label. It read, “Liza Soberano is still with Careless Music. No statement on the rumor. Thank you for clarifying.”
Recent days had seen speculation intensify that Soberano might be under new management, reportedly by her aunt.
These rumors gained momentum when an online showbiz program cited an anonymous but allegedly trustworthy source claiming that the actress was no longer affiliated with Careless and had severed ties with James Reid’s group.
These developments occurred in the midst of the ongoing promotional efforts for Liza Soberano’s highly anticipated Hollywood debut, ‘Lisa Frankenstein.’ The film is slated for release in theaters next February.
It’s worth noting that Liza Soberano’s casting in ‘Lisa Frankenstein’ was initially announced back in August of the previous year.
