On November 7, Viva artist Denise Esteban recounted getting stopped by immigration officers before leaving for Japan for their Vivamax movie ‘Japino.’

At the media conference for ‘Japino,’ which LionhearTV covered, Esteban first highlighted her excitement for her first out-of-the-country trip.

However, immigration officers stopped and questioned her for 30 minutes.

She then detailed the stringent questioning she underwent to prove that she was going to Japan for the production of their movie.

She also noted the number of requirements she had to provide to prove her identity.

Eh for tourist, siyempre dapat may laman ‘yung ano ko di ba? Eh walang laman, tapos ayun.

Finally, she proved her identity by showing her Vivamax movies to the immigration officers.

‘Ikaw ba ‘yan?’ ‘Opo ako po ‘to.'”

As for their movie, ‘Japino’ stars Angela Morena, Denise Esteban, Vince Rillon, Ali Asistio, Lara Morena, Takuhei Kaneko, and Tora Hara.

Under the direction of Freidric Macapagal Cortez, ‘Japino’ begins streaming on Vivamax this November 10.
