Actress Iza Calzado revisited the premises of GMA Network after more than ten years.
During an episode of ‘ on Tuesday, November 14, Iza was visibly moved as she stepped back into the network that had once been her professional home.
When questioned by Abunda about her sentiments on returning, Iza’s emotions took center stage.
“Actually, Tito Boy, akala ko I would be sentimental kasi, of course, pagbabalik ko. Pero ang unang-unang naisip ko…kasi nagpa-picture ako doon sa may statue. Tumingin ako doon sa gazebo, na-miss ko ‘yung tatay ko kasi laman siya n’on, e [gazebo],” shared Iza.
She added, “Kung nakatrabaho n’yo ‘yung tatay ko dito [sa GMA], nagsisigarilyo ‘yun, nakatambay. And somehow I guess I visualized him greeting me with a warmest smile.”
Iza’s eyes welled up with tears, prompting Boy to offer his support.
Iza Calzado is the daughter of the late TV director Lito Calzado, who passed away in 2011 at the age of 65 due to liver cancer.

Currently, Iza is engaged in promoting the movie ‘Shake Rattle and Roll Extreme.’ Although the film did not make it to MMFF 2023, it is set to hit theaters nationwide starting November 29.
