The primetime finales of ‘Love Before Sunrise (LBS)’ and ‘The World of the Married Couple (TWOTMC)’ concluded last week, and their TV ratings reflected strong performances against rival programs, based on the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey.

Closing its run on Friday, December 29, LBS achieved a notable rating of 9.7 percent, surpassing its Kapamilya romantic-drama competitor ‘Can’t Buy Me Love (CBML)’ by 2.5 percent, as CBML garnered 7.2 percent.
Leading up to its conclusion, LBS consistently outperformed CBML.
On Tuesday, December 26, LBS secured an 8.4 percent rating against CBML’s 7.7 percent. The trend continued on Wednesday, December 27, with LBS earning a 9.3 percent rating compared to CBML’s 7.3 percent.
On Thursday, December 28, LBS maintained its dominance with an 8.9 percent rating, edging out CBML’s 8.6 percent.
Similarly, TWOTMC triumphed in its timeslot before its final episode. On Monday, December 25, TWOTMC achieved a 3.0 percent rating, outpacing ‘Queen of Masks (QOM)’ by 1.2 percent, as QOM garnered 1.8 percent. The winning streak continued on Tuesday, December 26, with TWOTMC improving to 3.5 percent, surpassing QOM’s 2.8 percent.
Midweek, on Wednesday, December 27, the Kapamilya Asianovela re-run secured another victory against QOM with a rating of 3.0 percent compared to QOM’s 2.5 percent. Maintaining its success, on Thursday, December 28, TWOTMC posted a rating of 3.5 percent, while QOM trailed behind with 2.0 percent.
