Veteran actress Elizabeth Oropesa recently revealed an intriguing detail about her past leading man, the late Fernando Poe Jr., tagging him as the “best kisser” among all her on-screen partners.
During her appearance on ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,’ Oropesa candidly shared this revelation, noting that she had refrained from disclosing it earlier out of respect, especially since Poe’s wife, Susan Roces, was still alive at the time.
Describing FPJ as an exceptional kisser, Oropesa praised his soft lips, expressing admiration for his tender and loving approach. She contrasted his style with industry rumors, which previously highlighted George Estregan as a notable kisser.
“Beautiful, best kisser. And the lips, my God, so soft,” she shared.
However, Oropesa emphasized that while Estregan was skilled, FPJ’s kisses stood out for their tenderness and warmth, likening them to the sensation of Belgian chocolate melting in one’s mouth.
“Disente siya humalik. Ang tsismis noon na lumalaganap sa industriya, ang pinakamagaling humalik ay si George Estregan. Kasi totoo naman, napakagaling din naman ni George with matching laway na lumalabas,” she continued. “Kung siya ay tsokolate, Belgian. Melts in your mouth.”
Oropesa and Fernando Poe Jr. collaborated on various films within the Philippine cinema landscape, including notable titles like ‘Alupihang Dagat’ (1975) and ‘Aguila’ (1980).
