TAPE Inc., the production company behind the noontime variety show ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya,’ has made the announcement that the program will cease airing starting March 8, 2024.
This decision marks the end of an era for the long-running show, which has been a staple in Filipino television for many years.
In their official statement, TAPE Inc. expressed deep regret over the discontinuation of ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya’ and extended heartfelt gratitude to their broadcasting partner, GMA Network, for their enduring collaboration. Despite concerted efforts to sustain the program, both TAPE Inc. and GMA Network reached a mutual agreement to bring the show to a close.
The production company conveyed hope that they will have the opportunity to return to the television landscape in the future. They also took the opportunity to thank the dedicated viewers, esteemed hosts, supportive advertisers, hardworking crew, and committed employees who have been integral to the success of ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya’ over the years.
In response to TAPE Inc.’s announcement, GMA Network issued an official statement acknowledging the difficult decision to end ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya.’ The network expressed gratitude to TAPE Inc. for their invaluable contributions to the noontime programming landscape over the past decades, emphasizing that the legacy of the show will be remembered by Filipinos for years to come.
‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya’ debuted on GMA Network on July 1, 2023, introducing a fresh lineup of hosts and captivating audiences with its vibrant energy. However, the program’s journey came to an end on March 2, 2024, with its final episode airing on that date.
