Kapamilya noontime show “It’s Showtime” continues to soar in the TV ratings game, achieving one of its highest ratings to date.
According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey, “It’s Showtime” achieved its second-highest rating since the start of the pandemic and the ABS-CBN broadcast shutdown.
On Thursday, July 18, “It’s Showtime” earned a rating of 9.4 percent, surpassing its previous second-highest rating of 9.2 percent recorded on June 12, 2024.
Before this latest achievement, “It’s Showtime” had been marking an upward trend during the week.
On Monday, July 15, “It’s Showtime” posted a rating of 7.6 percent, which was 3.9 percent higher than ‘EAT…Bulaga’s’ 3.5 percent.
On Tuesday, July 16, the show soared to 9.0 percent, widening its lead over ‘EAT…Bulaga,’ which had a rating of 4.1 percent.
On Wednesday, July 17, it further improved, registering a rating of 9.1 percent, 5.2 percent higher than ‘EAT…Bulaga’s’ 3.9 percent.
“It’s Showtime’s” rise could be attributed to ‘EAT…Bulaga’s’ lower rating performance that week.

The Kapamilya noontime show featured its regular segments “Karaokids,” “EXpecially For You,” and “Tawag Ng Tanghalan.” The segment “EXpecially For You,” which featured ex-couples Chichay and Alhdryn, wasn’t particularly talked about, suggesting that the higher ratings might have been due to a lack of preference for ‘EAT…Bulaga’ on those days, drawing more viewers to “It’s Showtime.”
