The Kapamilya action-drama teleserye “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo (FPJBQ)” continues to surpass its own milestones, achieving an all-time high in ratings.
According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey, FPJBQ set a new record for its highest rating to date, maintaining its dominance on the ratings board.
On Monday, August 12, FPJBQ registered an 18.0 percent rating, its highest since its premiere on February 13, 2023. In contrast, its rival “Pulang Araw” scored 10.5 percent, 7.5 percent lower. This new achievement for FPJBQ comes just two days after it posted its previous highest rating of 17.9 percent on Thursday, August 8.
FPJBQ had already been on an upward trend the previous week, steadily climbing in ratings.
On Monday, August 5, FPJBQ registered a rating of 16.4 percent, 5.3 percent higher than “Pulang Araw’s” 11.1 percent.
The following day, Tuesday, August 6, FPJBQ improved slightly to 16.5 percent, increasing its lead over “Pulang Araw,” which scored 10.9 percent.
By midweek, Wednesday, August 7, the Kapamilya primetime teleserye continued its ascent, reaching 16.7 percent and widening its margin to 5.9 percent as “Pulang Araw” dropped to 10.8 percent.
Before the weekend, on Thursday, August 8, FPJBQ bolstered its ratings further, reaching its second-highest rating to date at 17.9 percent, significantly outpacing “Pulang Araw” at 10.3 percent.
However, FPJBQ saw a slight dip on Friday, August 9, dropping to 16.0 percent, though still leading “Pulang Araw” by 3.9 percent at 10.1 percent.
Following its all-time high on August 12, FPJBQ again slowed down slightly on Tuesday, August 13, posting a rating of 16.9 percent, 7.1 percent ahead of “Pulang Araw’s” 9.8 percent.
In addition to its record-breaking TV ratings, FPJBQ also set a new peak for live concurrent online views. On Tuesday, August 13, FPJBQ recorded an impressive 729,234 live concurrent viewers, the highest since the series debuted.
