Primetime action star Ruru Madrid is enjoying a much-deserved break after the demanding schedule of his recent teleserye.
The actor has chosen to unwind in a picturesque Bali-inspired villa located in Lubao, Pampanga.
Ruru recently shared a snapshot on Instagram, capturing himself lounging in the villa’s private pool with a refreshing drink in hand.
He captioned the post, “Restart. Reset. Refocus.”

The actor recently wrapped up his work on the action-packed series ‘Black Rider.’ As the lead star, Ruru dedicated a year to filming intense action scenes and performing numerous stunts, which led to several injuries.
Ruru is now gearing up for his next project, the upcoming movie ‘Green Bones,’ where he will star alongside Kapuso Drama King Dennis Trillo. Although specific details about their roles have not been disclosed, the film revolves around a man notorious for the grisly murder of his sister and her daughter. As he approaches parole, a newly assigned prison guard becomes determined to ensure he remains behind bars at all costs.
‘Green Bones’ is the entry of GMA Pictures and GMA Public Affairs for the 50th edition of the Metro Manila Film Festival in December 2024. The film will be directed by award-winning director Zig Dulay and written by National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts Ricky Lee, alongside 2023 MMFF Best Screenplay winner Anj Atienza.
